Project Background
Banqiao River in Hefei is a typical urban river section affected by rainfall runoff, residential activity and surrounding drainage conditions. The key requirement is to identify abnormal COD and ammonia nitrogen changes quickly, especially after rain or during periods of unstable flow.
For urban river management, a single laboratory result is not enough. Continuous online data helps determine whether a short-term spike is caused by runoff, mixed drainage, organic pollution or nitrogen-containing discharge.
How YexSensor Solves It
The monitoring point is configured with COD, ammonium nitrogen, pH and turbidity sensors. COD and ammonium nitrogen are the core indicators for pollution tracking. pH helps screen abnormal water chemistry, while turbidity supports judgment of runoff flushing and suspended solids disturbance.
The sensor group can be deployed at a fixed riverbank location and connected to a monitoring platform through RS485 Modbus RTU. This allows the operator to compare real-time data with historical trends and respond faster when abnormal values appear.
Recommended Product Configuration
| Product Image | Model / Product Link | Configuration Role |
|---|---|---|
![]() | YEX-S1-COD COD Online Sensor | Monitors organic pollution changes in urban river sections |
![]() | YEX-S1-NHN Ammonium Nitrogen Sensor | Identifies domestic sewage impact, mixed drainage or nitrogen pollution |
![]() | YEX-S1-PH Industrial Online pH Sensor | Checks whether pH values become abnormal |
