Do YexSensor water quality sensors support RS485 Modbus RTU?

Yes, many YexSensor online water quality sensors support RS485 Modbus RTU output. RS485 is widely used in industrial monitoring projects because it supports stable communication, long cable distance and multi-device connection when the system is designed correctly. Modbus RTU allows the sensor data to be read by PLCs, data loggers, controllers or IoT gateways. When ordering sensors, please confirm the required output signal, register information and communication settings such as baud rate, device address and parity.

Can the sensors connect to a PLC or data logger?

Yes. YexSensor sensors can be connected to PLCs, data loggers and industrial controllers if the output signal is compatible. For RS485 Modbus RTU sensors, the controller reads sensor values through Modbus registers. For 4-20mA output sensors, the controller reads analog current signals. The gateway collects the data and sends it to a cloud server through 4G, Ethernet, Wi-Fi or other communication methods.
