What are online water quality sensors?

Online water quality sensors are instruments used to continuously monitor key parameters in water, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity, COD, ammonium nitrogen, chlorophyll and blue-green algae. Compared with manual sampling, online sensors provide real-time data and help operators identify abnormal changes earlier.

Where are water quality sensors commonly used?

YexSensor online water quality sensors can be used in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, aquaculture ponds, wastewater treatment plants, industrial water systems and irrigation water monitoring projects. Different applications require different sensor combinations. For example, river monitoring often uses turbidity, conductivity, COD and DO sensors, while aquaculture projects usually focus on DO, pH and ammonium nitrogen.

How should I choose the right sensor?

The correct sensor depends on the water type, target parameter, measuring range, output signal, installation method and maintenance conditions.
